Christmas Village Square Louisbourg
November 29 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Christmas Village Square
Anchored Away in a Sea of Light
Friday, November 29, 2019
Louisbourg Town Centre
6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The evening will kick off with everyone gathering for the lighting of the town tree. From there, people will be invited to follow the candy cane lane and stroll freely through the village square enjoying the lights, music and animation of our floats, see all of the fire trucks and meet our local firefighters, take a horse and wagon ride, stop for a Beaver Tails treat, have a hot beverage at the miniature “L’il Catalone Store, sing Karaoke with Santa, or visit our miniature post office to mail your Santa letter. When needing a break from the outdoors, all who visit can warm up in the cafe with a complimentary warm drink and some goodies or visit Santa’s Village where children can make cookies with Mrs. Claus, work in the elves workshop, write a letter to Santa with the Christmas fairies and even get their picture taken with Santa. In keeping with tradition, awards will be given for 1st, 2nd 3rd and People’s Choice for best float and an award for Best Holiday Attire.
Together we can make this event an even greater success than our past parade. To achieve this success, and more than ever before, we need your help to do so. Your participation will be the key through entering a float/display, in any theme you desire. This is a great opportunity to host an event that is once again unique to our community, starting new traditions, building memories for children of all ages. With your help, we can make it happen!
If you are able to register an entry or have any questions please contact Darlene at the Louisbourg Library before Nov 14th.
