You’ve definitely heard of some low-lives trying to profit off the COVID-19 outbreak, But I have no idea why someone would make up fake stories about the pandemic and circulate them online, putting peoples’ health at risk. Here are some recent viral fake coronavirus stories:

Blasting hot air from a blow dryer into your sinuses, eating a banana filled with vitamin B-6 and gargling with warm water mixed with salt or vinegar will kill the coronavirus. (Doctors say the coronavirus can be detected in the throat for at least a week, but there’s no effective gargling remedy.)

Baby food companies Gerber and Enfamil will send an entire case of their product to families who cannot afford formula during this time. Just call the number on the back of the can. (Gerber and Enfamil publicly denied the giveaway.)
