Cape Breton University is offering help for refugees settling on the island.

10 bursaries will go to refugees who didn’t have a chance to finish diplomas or school in their homeland.

Settlement Councillor Sohila Abdo told the CBC Syrian families have expressed interest, especially parents who never had such a chance.
